Do you have an existing small business that uses technology in an innovative way to serve customers or improve your day-to-day operations?
If so, you might be eligible for a prize valued over $30,000 from Dell and the NFIB!
I read about this in the Houston Business Journal, and I quickly hurried over to Dell's website to get the rest of the scoop. Unfortunately, I'm not even up and running yet, but the information is too good to keep under my hat.
I think that small businesses depend on technology in a much different way than larger companies. Easy access to the internet and the decreasing cost of both software and hardware allows us to reach more people and do business in a way that our grandparents never would have dreamed of.
While large companies use technology as their lifeblood because they have to in order just to communicate within their own ranks, small businesses are able to be more innovative. They can choose to use technology only when and in the ways that it benefits them best, and then choose not to use it at times it doesn't add value to the business.
So, do we have any KMM bloggers or readers out there who might qualify for the prize? You have until Feb. 24 to get your entry in!
