Now that I've returned from my trip to Mexico, I can tell you the top 10 things that I loved about my business trip, and one thing that I didn't love about it.
1. I got to go to my favorite place to visit in the whole wide world.
2. I bought lots of beautiful things for my store.
3. I felt like I was in the middle of history in the making during the "resistance" in Oaxaca.
4. Almost everything I did was tax deductible.
5. I went to the dentist while I was there, and saved $3000 on three crowns.
6. I was reassured that my business can survive without my being in the store every day, should the need arise.
7. I was much more comfortable with the procedures for importing my purchases than I was the last time.
8. My spanish really improved on this trip!
9. I met some new suppliers, and made lots of new business contacts.
10. I ate Mexican food every day.
So, with all these great things to rave about, what is the one thing that there was not to like about my business trip?
