We're all going to miss Steve Irwin, aka The Crocodile Hunter. His effusive personality brought enviromental awareness to a whole group of people who may not have cared otherwise.
I loved watching him teach us about animal life while he dared to do things that most people wouldn't even think of doing. I'm in the small minority of people who thought it was cute (and safe) when he brought his new baby with him while he fed the crocodiles on TV.
His love and respect for all things wild was evident in everything that he did. A true entrepreneur, Irwin had a real passion for his life's work, and because of that he was very successful.
Maybe we can take away that lesson as Irwin's legacy. Do what you love, and love what you do.
Rest in peace, Crocodile Hunter, and my heart goes out to your family.
