As the proud father of both 12 and 8-year old girls, I'm getting a daily indoctrination into the emergence of "tween fashion". If Hannah Montana is wearing it, my daughters want to wear it.
Enter R. Lilly Tuckerwear. Founder Nancy Ganz established the online store to
meet the teen clothing and tween clothing needs of her daughter and her daughter's friends. And from the looks of the website and the clothing they offer, she's done a great job.
The website does a great job giving lots of choices to teens and tweens who are looking for stylish tween fashion, teen dresses and other trendy tween clothes.
My daughter surfed the site for a few minutes, and loved what she saw. She mentioned that the look and feel of the website reminded her of the Disney Channel website and other tween-friendly websites that we let her visit occasionally.
She gave the fashions high marks, and told me that she saw several things that she would love to wear to school here in a few months. That's about the best endorsement I can think of!
The look, the feel and the fashion choices all have R. Lilly Tuckerwear positioned well in this competitive - but growing - market of "tween fashion".
Like any new business, it will all come down to how they market their site and set themselves apart from their competition. From the looks of things, R. Lilly Tuckerwear is off to a great start.
