I think George Parker, who has great posts over at AdHurl, posts about my reaction to Rupert Murdoch buying the Wall Street Journal.
I think he doesn't agree with me; alas, his comment below focuses more on the political slant I took, and less about the actual impact of the Murdock purchase. After he gets through with some jabs and name calling, in fact, he actually agrees with my take that the Wall Street Journal is already a conservative leaning publication:

As I said in my post on AdHurl, the so called American Liberal Media is a myth. If, for example, you believe CNN is a liberal network, you probably also believe we are winning in Iraq. I live in the most Conservative state in the US, where people are convinced anyone to the left of Ghengis Kahn is a communist and their "News Authority" is a fat drug addict by the name of Rush. I do however, manage to get theBBC World Service, so am able to update on more news than when Lindsey Lohan will next be out of rehab. You are right, the Wall Street Journal is already conservative. Under the "Wizened of Oz," I fully expect it to go to the right of Ghengis Khan. Glad I got that off my chest. I'll just have a drink now while I wait for the Department of Homeland Security stormtroopers to arrive and smash down the
door.
Cheers/George
I'll translate the essence of the comments for those not well versed in the language of the angry left: The Wall Street Journal is already conservative, and now that Murdoch owns it he believes that it will become wildly conservative.
I personally don't think so, and it sounds like Murdoch will have an editorial oversight committee make sure that it maintains its current journalistic flavor. But all of this is exciting fodder for those that see conspiracy written across everything that Rupert Murdoch touches. As for those of us who aren't as loud and boisterous on the right, all of it makes for some temporary lighthearted entertainment.
I do appreciate George's take on it...he's a good sport, an expert in his field, and sent me a nice note to me after his comment. It had something to do with "pistols at dawn", I think...
